Hi everyone, I am starting to plan my interrail trip and I saw that the pass offers some benefits for hostel reservations, such a 10% disocunt at the Ruthensteiner hostel in Vienna if the reservation is made through famoushostels.com. However, the Ruthensteiner hostel is not part of this website’s offers so I dont ‘understand how I am supposed to get this offer.Thanks in advance 

Apologies, complete interrail amateur here. We are in the UK from Australia.  We wish to travel from London to Brussels on the 14th September. Then from Brussels to Stuttgart. Stuttgart to Bern. Bern to Chamonix. Chamonix to Paris. All within a month.  Would a 5/7 day rail pass be suitable for us?  Main concern is buying one and not being able to book onto a train from London to Brussels on the 14th. Is there anyway to check in advance of purchasing?   Thanks for any help 

Hi!I’m going from Stockholm to Hamburg. Then I’ll take a new train from Hamburg to Paris. Continue after a few days in Paris to Montpellier. Do I create a new trip for each part, or do I add the following parts to my original trip? How does it work? I mean can I connect many trips to my global pass, or can I just have one trip connected? Stefan

Hello, I have a problem and I’m hoping you can help me. I'm living in Germany and Im on vacation in Italy. Yesterday I booked a connection back to Germany. The problem is, that I’m traveling with a night jet to Munich and from Munich I have to take another train. I’ll start my journey in Italy at 10pm and arriving Munich at 6am on the next morning, because of I’m traveling over night my outbound ticket is used when I arrive in Munich and I can’t travel with my interrail ticket again. The problem is that I have to take another train from Munich which isn’t include in my ticket anymore and the app says I have to buy me a ticket on my own. My question is, is there any other chance to take the following train from Munich without paying?

Lost passport on Bus 246 inbetween Zalaszentivan station in Hungary and Hodos (Gr) in Slovenia. I really need help finding the number of the Coach company. Any help would be massively appreciated.

Whilst checking a few options recently I have seen some UK trains requiring reservations. The latest was when I was doing a check on a UK planner for the recent question on Holyhead to London. There are a few direct trains operated by Avanti and they clearly say a reservation is required to travel on those trains. I have also seen some LNER trains with the same requirement on the Interrail planner.

Hi! I’m travelling to Paris, Barcelona, Madrid, Nice, Milan, Rome, Italy, Bern, and Frankfurt. I have 2 questions.  Do I really need to print out seat reservations or tickets for any of these cities? I leave tomorrow and plan to kind of book as I go, I find it so dumb to print things out when I have a mobile global pass  Going from Paris-Barcelona I need a seat reservation, but it says it’ll be mailed by post… but I’m staying in airbnbs etc and don’t know if I’ll get it in time. How do I work around this?? any help is greatly appreciated thanks   

Hello everyone,I’m planning to do a rail trip around Scandinavia in 2/3 weeks. Everything went well with my Interrail Pass Mobile but when I try to book some tickets train in Norway (From Bodoe to Trondheim, or Trondheim to Oslo, or Oslo to Bergen, etc...), I have the same error message every time (at any time, any train, any destinations) Even in 1 month, I’ve the same message. Here is the error message (I can’t even click on “More information”).What am I supposed to do ?  Thank you in advance for your answer.Have a nice day ! 

Hey everybody, my friend and I are looking forward to go to Italy from our home country!We’re thinking about getting a global pass but still have some troubles… If we’re going from Germany to Italy (Monday evening from Osnabrück to Munich and then the night train on Tuesday Munich to Rome) - so in total two days, do they count as an inbound? And for the night train we need to get a reservation from the Austrian site but there are no options if we’re trying at https://www.oebb.at - does this mean that the train is sold out? We didn’t get any clue from the website and everywhere is written that you cannot take a night train without a reservation?Hope someone can help us, thank you in advance!! (:

Dear all,I was hoping to do a bike trip in Portugal following the Eurovelo 1 Route at the end of September/beginning-mid October.However, I seem to not be able to find connections in Spain that will allow me to bring my bike without dissembling and storing it in a box.Do you have any advice or experience taking your bike on trains in Spain to Portugal? I will be happy to also cycle in Spain to connect to places if need be. Thanks for your help :)Best

Hello,We have a 2nd class Eurorail pass and started traveling this morning. The trains from Paris to Stüttgart today are full so we had to purchase 1st class tickets for that part of our trip at full cost. Are we able to get a partial refund and if so, how?Thank you 

Hi All, I am completely new to Eurail, I have purchased my pass and activated it and chosen my first travel date but have not used any more travel days as yet, I still have 14/15 as I have purchased a 15 days over 2 months global passMy question is simply what is the difference between adding a travel day on the rail planner app compared to a journey?My wife and I have already reserved seating for all of our journeys and I am adding them as journeys on the app, is this what I should be doing? Or should I be adding them as Travel days? Thanks in advance Jesse

Due to a covid that took 4 weeks to recover, i could only use 3 rides and tomorrow my pass expires. Can I extend my validity period due to this exceptional hardship? 

Hallo,Ich bin gerade in Italien und überlegen morgen mit dem Zug nach Rom zu fahren. Meine eigentliche Interrailreise beginnt er in zwei Wochen, wo ich dann vom meinem Heimatland Deutschland aus starte. Kann ich für diese Fahr nach Rom trotzdem schon mein interrail ticket einsetzten? 

I am getting mixed messages online as to if we can travel Gatwick to St. Pancras with our Eurail pass.  I am travelling with my wife and two kids and really don't want to have to go Gatwick to Victoria and then try to take the tube and walk to St. Pancras.  But i’m also very disappointed if I have to pay almost 39 pounds for the 4 of us to travel direct to St. Pancras. ON the Eurail site they say Thameslink trains are included but on the App planner i can’t get it to show anything for Gatwick to St. Pancras. Any help or recent experience would be great!! Thanks, Jason  

Hello! I'm interrailing with my wife in two weeks, we want to go from Paris to Barcelona - the connection requires a seat reservation. As I understand SNCF only offers paper reservations sent to a passenger via traditional mail. It is possible for us to be sent our reservations to an adress we're staying at in Paris. Unfortunately a booking system states that based on Interrail calculations the letter will be late for our arrival - we are staying in Paris for 3 days, 14-16 September - so two weeks from now. We don't know if we can rely on this information, since the letter should be sent within one country - from France to France. We suspect this could be some kind of a system error. Could anyone let us know if we can odrer our reservations in paper form safely? Thaks in advance!

I have made a number of reservations through the Interrail website. I have the email confirmations but I would like to see a summary of all the reservations I’ve made so far within the website and, ideally, in the app itself. Is that possible, or do I have print out every reservation? Seems very 20th century if that’s the case. 🙁 Thanks for your help. It’s great knowing the community is out there. 😀

Hello! My country od residence is Poland, but I am currently in Germany (where I am not a legal resident) and I was hoping to start my trip from here. Is it possible to start a trip in a different country than the one that is my country of residence? And can I choose not to use outbound or inbound trips to my country of residence, cause I am not planning to go to Poland on my trip? Is it mandatory to use outbound and inbound trips or can I simply not visit my country?

What happens if my seat reservations have been returned to sender?  They were sent to my accomodation who weren’t available at the time of delivery (and didn’t go to collect as promised)  and subsequently have been returned to sender which is Eurail.  I’m really counting on these seat reservations.  Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi team, Soon I will be landing in London with Plans to go to Worcester, Birmingham, York, Edinburgh and Amsterdam. Wondering if the Eurorail pass is worth it? Advance tickets on British trains seem to be much cheaper, but I don't want to be locked into having to get specific trains. For this reason, the Eurorail seems more flexible . Thoughts?
