Hi, when I bought our passes, I was asked to select our home country as UK or Ireland...so I selected UK as we're in N. Ireland...now my home country on the passes is given as Great Britain which doesn't include N. Ireland...I now need to change my home country to Ireland as Interrail seems to treat the whole island as one home country...how do I make this change?Thnx

My rail pass shows that I've already used 1 of 4 travel days on my pass but I haven't booked anything yet.  While I originally set up my pass to start on May 22 I need to change that start date of my rail pass from May 22 to May 23 since I won't be traveling until then. I don't seem to have the rights to change the start date nor to delete the associated trip.

Hello. I’ve bought my first Interail pass for myself and my kids. Whilst I was aware there were going to be seat reservations to pay, I’m shocked at how expensive they are for myself and two kids. I’m also struggling with availability and starting to regret getting Interail passes at all. For example, I want to travel from Aix en Provence to Barcelona but whenever I search, although lots of trains come up it’s telling me none of them are available to book. Once, on my mobile app, it allowed me to click through to book them but I was shocked to learn it was 80 euros which included 10 euros postage (why when I have a mobile pass?) and 6 euros booking fee. Please can anyone help with regards to if this is all standard and if so i I might cancel my Interail all togas it’s too much hassle and cost, or am I just doing something wrong/not giving the whole process a chance? I have some questions after the flashsale. Definitely  I think I won't be the only one with such questions, so I will post them here in this community: I have the interrailapp. on my phone.  I bought the mobile pass with a 50% discount via “Treinrondreis” in NL.  That went excellent and correct. The next question is NOT about activation just before my first trip in a few months. A Does it have advantages and/or disadvantages to download the railpass already now some months before the first trip in the app?  (I know It can be removed again if necessary before activation). Or B downloading the railpass just before activation in the app after a few months? The next related question is about requesting the “passcovernumber” without haste, just to be sure: Can that A requested before downloading the railpass in the app.?  B After downloading the pass in the app.  but before activation?  Or C only after activation? There is so much knowledge here, so I hope for clear answers!

I made a plan with friends on a mobile phone, now I have changed to another mobile phone but the plan I made does not appear.Does anyone know how to transfer the plan from one mobile phone to another?

As for 4 days in a row all tickets from Toulouse to Spain (I tried Madrid, Barcelona, Girona, Pamplona) are sold out, I thought of trying local trains. I don't mind the change more often, besides it's a great way to meet locals and see more than just a fast blur by 250/h. But no, I can't find any connection. I tried Toulouse - Narbonne - Port-Bou, just over the border and from there to Barcelona. Nope, I have to back to Perpignan. I tried Toulouse - Orthez and then to Pamplona, but those are buses. I suppose the locals go by train too, don't they? I bet they don't take all a TGV, but just a train that stops at every tree. ;)Why don't these local trains show up?Anyone advice about how to get to Spain from Toulouse other than the TGV via Narbonne?

There is an Interrail Greek Islands Pass that is exactly what I am looking for. But the paper pass only arrive in July and my trip is in June. Can we not get a digital version of this ticket? 😱

Hi, I've booked 2 reservations, but their timetables (and/or type of train) are not completely the same on the railway-company website and interrail website/app. Somebody told me that the app is not always updated, but I don't want to have troubles while travelling, so I'll explain my doubts through my examples: EXAMPLE NUMBER 1~ Screenshot from the interrail app, where there's my qr code to travel:~ Screenshot from the interrail website, where I got my reservation:The 8.10am train doesn't exist in the interrail website, and 8.20am one doesn't exist in the app. In the trenitalia website they both exist. I'm confused, but at the end I bought the reservation for the 8.20am train. My question is:can I use that qr code (shown in the app) and that reservation (bought on the interrail website) to join the rome-milan journey?  EXAMPLE NUMBER 2~ Here's the screenshot from the interrail app:~ Then the screenshot from the DB website, where I purchased the reservation:~ The interrail website show

I am brand new to Eurail and I am trying to plan for our vacation in Europe this summer.I have purchased mobile Global Flexi Eurail passes for both myself and my husband from the Eurail.com site.  The passes are the 15 travel days in two month passes and we opted to buy 1st class passes. I then downloaded the Rail Planner app to my iPhone, which is running iOS 15.  I have loaded both Global passes onto my phone and connected both of them to a trip. I have not activated the passes yet because the first day of our train travel is still to be determined.In each trip I have created several journeys and saved them to the trips associated with each of the Global passes.  When I tap on the My Trip icon for a pass, the journeys all show up.   But when I tap on a particular journey in the trip,  I don’t get an option to “add the trip” to the pass.  What I do get is a detail of the description of the train trip for the journey and and button that says “Search again”.In the list of journeys, none

Hi Everyone,I’m new to this so please forgive me if I’m missing something.  I’m planning a trip in late september through middle of October.  I’ve bought the euraill global 1st class pass.  So, am now trying to book seat reservations and every single long trip (eg prague-budapest.  Budapest to Zurich) says seat not available...I’ve looked at the eurail and the obb sites and both say this.  Am I trying to book these tickets too early (I’m hoping this is the case!) or is it normal for these seats to be sold out 5 months out?  Thanks so much for your help….

Hi, We are two people going interrailing this summer. I have sent a couple of emails to interrail.eu directly, but they are not responding, therefore I am trying here. We chose the mobile pass when ordering the passes a couple of months ago and I have activated our tickets in the Rail Planner-app. But I have heard that you also need a physical pass? In that case, how do I get it, is it enough to print it out? I have not received anything by post either (which is probably because I ordered the mobile pass). And one more thing; we have already ordered several seat reservations. I have gotten the confirmation email with the tickets and I can find them in my profile on the website, but they are not visible in the app… Why is that? And do I need to print out these as well?  Thank you!!

Lauterbrunnen to Wengen cable car as best I can tell is part of SBB and therefore should be included on the Global Eurail pass, is this correct?

HI I'm trying to book a seat reservation on the night train from Krakow to Budapest on the 18th of July and still this website doesn't give me that option. I have tried to book it on CD but i get to the last step and it says the ticket isn’t available at this price. It’s frustrating that i have an Interrail pass and i can’t book seat reservations on their website.  

Hello,I am looking to travel to Germany, from the UK with my two young children, aged 5 & 9, this August. We are planning to stay for about 2-3 weeks and were hoping to travel by train within Germany whilst we are there. I was wondering if you might be answering the below questions: - what ticket type would be best for our requirements? - would the ticket be valid from within the UK to London, or is it only valid for the Eurostar journey, and then SNCF & DB- Can we use the ticket for any train, or only regional trains? - I am a German citizen with UK residence, my children have dual citizenship (UK & German), does this affect our eligibility for the pass? - How do I book? I basically don't know how Interrailing works, especially with young children and I feel fairly confused by the number of different websites out there. hi, can i use my pass for 2 people?  make a trip for two people using two travel days.Thank you 

If I were to take an overnight train (eg: Aug 9 to Aug 10), the night rule says I will be charged for only 1 travel day if there are no train changes after midnight. However, most of the routes require at least 1 or 2 changes throughout the midst of the journey (some even requires 5 changes!). Does that mean everytime when a train changes take place after midnight, I will be charged for 2 travel days? Even if my travel day is only activated at like 23.55pm (means it will only last for 5 mins for that travel day itself)?  I am asking based on the night rule below that I found on the Eurail website: When traveling on a night train that leaves on one day and arrives the next, without changing trains after midnight, you only have to spend 1 travel day: the day of departure. If you do change trains after midnight, you have to spend 2 travel days.

Hello! I’m trying  to make a reservation for the Bernina Express, but in the Eurail webpage (Benefits in Switzerland) it says that the reservation costs are 14CHF in summer and 10CHF in winter and when trying to buy the tickets directly at the RhB webpage and adding the Eurail Pass in “Reduction” while adding to cart, the reservation cost is 24 CHF… Does anyone know which is the mistake or how I can get the 10/14 CHF cost? I´m travelling in april. Thanks!

Hello, similar to others, I have received 1st class reservations for my 2nd class interrail ticket for italy. Unfortunately, the trip starts in Switzerland, which makes it impossible to change them at a ticket office. I already contacted you (interrail support) and didn’t received an reply since two days. I also contacted trenitalia via phone. They said that they are not able to exchange the ticket and that I definitely cannot take the train with that reservation. He also mentioned that it won’t be possible to ask the on-board staff for a change of that reservation. Hope someone can help me. I don’t want to buy a second reservation, obviously, and don’t want to stand with my child in Zürich in the end without a possibility to continue our travel. Best,Max

Hello. I booked a ticket on OBB that shows a direct train without any changes from Munich to Venice on June 8—NJ 40463. However, Eurail doesn't seem to have this itinerary and instead suggests that I have to change trains, though the arrival time is the same. How do I add this trip to my pass?

I live in Sandy Bedfordshire.On my 1st day’s journey, I intend to travel from Sandy to London St. Pancras International by Thameslink.  Then on to Amsterdam on the Eurostar.I will also be making my return journey via Eurostar but from Paris upon my final day’s travel.My question is, while I appreciate that the Thameslink portion of these journeys count as outbound and inbound domestic journeys and are limited to one each way where the Interrail pass is concerned.  Are the Eurostar Journeys also counted in the outbound and inbound journeys.The Eurostar journeys start from St Pancras which is in the UK, but as you effectively have to cross the UK border in order to board the train, is this counted as a European journey that begins and ends outside the UK, and therefore not included in the outbound or inbound restrictions and as such, not limited to one journey in each direction?My question also includes the cross channel ferry service from Harwich to Hool of Holland 

I asked customer service about activation of global pass a week ago and this situation is emargency for me but I have not received response yet. I am traveling using this ticket now, and I am almost going to finish my trip. When can I get a response from customer service? Although I also texted message to personal one she has not reply as well.
